Wanna Get Ripped: Stop Eating Shit!
Not too hard to understand, but a bit more complicated to implement. Sean, pictured above, is a Central client that came to our program motivated to jump in full force. He immediately changed his diet and currently Crossfit’s 5 days a week! He started taking Advocare supplements and has put on a ton of muscle mass. Many of us don’t have quite the time in our week to WOD 5 days a week, but we are all capable of making changes to our diet. To find out more info on food and nutrition come to a Nutrition meeting at Crossfit Central next Tuesday at 12:15 or 7pm.
Awesome job! Nutrition is key!! Remember- what you eat in private shows in public!!

Quite possibly the best illustration for the following statement. The concept of consistency is a joke. Those that strive for consistency might as well say that they strive for mediocrity. In life, there are ups, downs, ups, downs, and ups. If we work hard enough to end on an “up”. Life is a “Sine Curve” and no one has illustrated this better than a certain CEO.
Incredible!! He will be missed.
An Inspirational Moment
To me, there is nothing more fulfilling in life than to see someones life transform, for the better, right before your eyes, and to be a small part of that successful transformation. This is one of the many reasons I absolutely love what I do! Every single person that I train or starts my Camp Gladiator boot camp I hope to get them to where they want to be. To help them reach their fitness and health goals, and to get them to go beyond those goals!! Campers will come and go each month, but then there are those who become your die-hards! Who love coming to camp because they absolutely need to sweat and get in that horrible awesome workout! But for them it doesn’t stop there, it goes into the weekends where they run 5ks, compete in triathlons, participate in mud runs and obstacle course adventures, as well as half and full marathons!
This brings me to my point- this weekend I experienced something pretty amazing- I had an enjoyable running experience. For those of you who know me, I reallllly do not like to run long distances and I have NEVER had any desire what-so-ever to EVER to participate in a marathon. Some of my die hard campers have been training for a marathon, and being the good trainer that I am (wink wink) I volunteered to run with them on occasion (what was I getting myself into???) They were about to tackle 17miles! The longest they had ever run at one time! Me and a couple others met up with them on their mile 10 to finish the last 7 miles with them. Seeing them at this 10 mile mark, all smiles, was very inspiring…

As we embarked on this mini journey of ours it gave me a whole other outlook on running and that it can actually be done for fun. Wow, I can’t believe I just said that. BUT- seeing the motivation in these ladies faces, knowing they are so close to reaching their marathon goal, helps me see the positive side of why I am out there with them. They have already accomplished so much, yet they strive for more, awesome! I will no doubt be with them at the finish line when they complete their 26.2 adventure, who knows, maybe ill be finishing with them?? ;-)

Oh yes, dont let me forget to mention the amazing support system these ladies have. It blew me away, to see their husbands and kids driving behind and in front of us the whole entire way!!!! Loaded down with water, Gatorade, and snacks of all kinds. Taking pictures left and right, they were not leaving our side. That’s why this day, this run, this experience, was an inspirational moment!!

A piece of the obstacle course from 2011 Dallas Gladiator Games!! Can’t wait until we bring it to Waco! Camp Gladiator boot camp is an awesome family to be a part of!!
Life is a roller coaster. You can either hold on for your life, scream-cry-and wet your pants… Or you can let go. Throw your hands in the air and smile. Your Choice. #CelebrateLIfe
